Park Safety Help make our greenspaces an enjoyable experience for everyone by observing the following guidelines:
Parks are open 30 minutes before sunrise and close 30 minutes after sunset, seven days a week
The Monon Greenway is open sunrise to sunset, seven days a week
On greenways and trails keep right; pass on the left; communicate before passing Skaters yield to pedestrians; bikers yield to everyone
Everyone yield to vehicles at intersections. Vehicles have right-of-way
Always be considerate of other park users
Keep pets on short leashes and clean up after them
Dispose of litter in provided receptacles
Look both ways and cross streets, drives and parking lots with extreme care
Do not disturb animals or vegetation in the parks
Report any unsafe conditions to 317.848.7275
