We would like to welcome all of the returning and new Carmel families to our Extended School Enrichment (ESE) program! Our primary goal is to maintain a student centered program. One way we will do this by gauging the student's interests while planning our enrichment clubs and special events. Another way we will do this is by encouraging students to strive for excellence in all that they do and taking advantage of teachable moments. All of this will be done while ensuring the student's safety and leading by example.
One of the foundational principles of the ESE program are the RICHER principles. RICHER is an acronym for Respect, Integrity, Caring, Harmony, Excellence, and Responsibility. Students and staff are expected to demonstrate these principles and the students are rewarded for demonstrating these principles. One way students are rewarded for positive behaviors are through RICHER "Right-Ups" and these are placed on the RICHER "Right-Up" Tree each day. Every Friday, we discuss a topic of the week (awareness) and host a RICHER ceremony for the RICHER "Right-Ups" that were received throughout that week.
Continue to check our website, parent table, and the weekly e-mails from Miss Holton to learn more about our programs and to stay informed about upcoming events!
