During the month of April, you may have seen a new face around the College Wood ESE program. Sarah Alley is interning with the College Wood ESE program though a local non-for-profit agency, Easter Seals Crossroads. Sarah is a graduate of Anderson University where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Family Science. Sarah has previously worked with United Way of Hamilton County, East 91st Street Christian Church and East Side Middle School.
She absolutely loves working with children and is excited to be gaining more experiences while at College Wood ESE. Sarah has helped to create new ideas for clubs, assist with homework time and running art clubs with the other facilitators, plan for summer camp and help out with administrative duties such as filing and copying documents.
It has truly been a wonderful experience and I have learned so much, which I hope to be able to use in the future, says Sarah. A huge thanks to Miss Ogle and Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation who allowed for this internship to happen.
