Three Dimensional Space, The New Frontier

The study of how drawing skills develop in young minds has led me to observe distinct stages in the maturity of a young artist. Very young children, ages 1-2, are scribblers; ages 2-4 are preschematic (symbols) artists, and children ages 3-8 progress into the schematic arena, having developed a large set of symbols that allows for more detailed communication. Whether it be realism, conceptualism or schematic complexity, young children express their emotions, relationships, frustrations and observations through drawing.

Calling all Actors! Our Success on Stage Summer Camp is an opportunity for you to sharpen your acting skills and add a Disney production to your growing resume! Creative boys and girls ages 7-10 can register for Success on Stage and join the cast of 101 Dalmatians (June 4-30) or Disney’s The Jungle Book (July 2-27); children ages 11-14 will perform Disney’s Aladdin Jr. (June 4-30) or Annie Jr. (July 2-27).
