Congratulations to Debbie Snyder for submitting the winning name to the
ESE “Name the Newsletter” contest. Debbie has won an iPod Shuffle
for her newsletter title suggestion, “ESE News & Views.”
As we announced in the October ESE eNewsletter, individuals with
ideas for a creative and catchy name were to submit their ideas
for the eNewsletter’s
title to info@carmelclayparks.com,
and if chosen, would win an iPod Shuffle. Debbie is the mother
of ESE student and Forest Dale first grader, Summer Snyder. Thanks
for the great new title, and congratulations, Debbie!

As each of the 11 Carmel Clay elementary schools continue to enjoy the
success of the program, the Site Celebrations have hit full stride
at many of the schools. On October 13, Orchard Park's Fall Festival
proved to be a Site Celebration achievement! Parents and students
alike were wowed by the magnificent show put on by C.R. Ryan the
Magician, who was also the D.J. for the evening. C.R. Ryan prompted families
to the dance floor with hits like the "Electric Slide" and the "Macarena." The
celebration also included homemade chili, served by ESE staff,
crafts, raffles and door prizes. Throughout the school year, each
of the 11 elementary schools will host five Site Celebrations
to display the success of the ESE students. |
