This year our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have done just that, they have
taken the challenge to become Junior Facilitators in the ESE Before
and After School Program at Forest Dale Elementary. Before they can take
that step they have to complete an eight week training called Club Challenge.

At each of the eleven elementary schools; the Parent Advisory
Councils (PAC) will start their respective meetings this month.
The PAC will be comprised of primarily ESE parents/guardians and
will serve as an organized communication network for each of the
eleven Extended School Enrichment (ESE) programs.

From Kindergarten through
5th grade, students are stepping up to make decisions for the
Extended School Enrichment (ESE) program. Each school has formed
a decision team that consists of two students (one male and
one female) per grade; the team is called the Student Advisory
Council.
