Participants of ESE are rewarded for exhibiting positive behavior that reflects upon the foundation of the RICHER Principles: Respect, Integrity, Caring, Harmony, Excellence and Responsibility. This incentive program is based upon positive character development that promotes fundamental life skills and attributes. The RICHER Principles are taught through modeled behaviors, interpersonal communication, applied skills and demonstration of the positive character attributes in all elements of the students’ daily lives. Some of the rewards for exhibiting positive behavior include RICHER dollars, popcorn and movie Fridays, and voting on the group game activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Group Game club runs as usual, but if time permits and the students are demonstrating the RICHER principles, then they are allowed to vote on a fun activity. The kids love this club, and it is shaping up to be an OP favorite!
