We’re offering three toddler fundamentals programs this season. Here’s a look at one:
A great introduction to logical thinking and STEM activities. In this class, parents and children will take part in creative experiments using numbers, colors, shapes, patterns, problem solving and logical thinking. Parents will receive printed materials to continue working on these skills with their children at home.
American Sign Language
Learn American Sign Language (ASL)! This course is for beginners and no previous experience is required. You’ll learn the alphabet, introductions and other basic vernacular. You’ll also learn about deaf culture and how to effectively communicate with those in the deaf community.
The description above was for an adult program. We also offer ASL for infants.
Safe Sitter® is a nationally recognized, medically-accurate program that is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills, such as how to rescue someone who is choking and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice CPR and choking rescues! Parents, join us for a brief graduation ceremony at 3:15pm. Students must bring a non-refrigerated lunch.
This program contains non-stop movement, dancing, music, rhythm, tonal patterns instrument exploration and more! Each week we will explore musical concepts together in a fun, safe and play-based setting.
