Try Tai Chi at the Monon Community Center

Here’s what tai chi is and why we think you should try it!

The origins of tai chi date back to ancient China. This mind-body discipline focuses on breath and a set of subtle movements. And, as you’d imagine from an art that’s still well-practiced after all this time, it has many benefits.

We have offered tai chi at the Monon Community Center for a few years now. We are excited to offer a free celebration on April 24 in honor of World Tai Chi and Qi Gong Day.

Two of our outstanding instructors, Victoria Wesseler and Ingrid Ritchie, along with members of current tai chi classes,  will lead us through a tai chi demonstration on Facebook Live!

We know that tai chi might be new to you, so we’re sharing some useful info that Wessler and Ritchie suggested.
