Everything you need to know about our cabanas at The Waterpark

Rent yourself a little piece of luxury at The Waterpark this summer with a private cabana. Choose from one of our secluded shelters that conveniently overlook all the summer fun. Our cabana options are great for parties, families, and those who like an escape to privacy while enjoying The Waterpark. Whether you’ve rented with us before or you’re renting a cabana for the first time, we want you to have the best experience possible. That’s why we’ve compiled some of our most frequently asked questions.

Q: How do I rent a cabana?

To ensure a seamless reservation process from start to finish, there are a couple of things you should know when renting a cabana

  • Step 1: Go to Active, our registration platform, and select “Reservations.”
  • Step 2: Click on “Cabana Rentals: Full Day.”
  • Step 3: Log in or create an Active account. 
  • Step 4: Ensure your “Reservation Group”  is correct.
    • If using a desktop or laptop computer, ensure “Cabana Rentals: Full Day” is selected under “Reservation Group” at the top of the screen.
    • On mobile, this setting is pre-populated.
  • Step 5: Select the date of your rental on the right-hand side of the screen. 
    • On a desktop or laptop, available dates are white and unavailable dates are gray.
    • On mobile, unavailable dates say “unavailable.”

  • Step 6: Select an available cabana and press continue. Cabanas 1-12 are 12×12 cabanas. Cabanas 23 + 24 are 8×8 cabanas. Cabanas 13-22 are 12×12 cabanas.
    • To select a cabana on a desktop or a laptop, click the white bar. 
    • To select a cabana on mobile, select the 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. button.
  • Step 7: Enter your event name and the number of individuals in your party, and complete the waiver and agreement. 
  • Step 8: Select reserve.
  • Step 9: Get ready for your visit! We’ll see you soon!

 

Q: Are there late-day rentals?

Full-day rentals. Full-day cabana rentals are the only advanced rental option. When you place your reservation know that you are signing up to use that cabana for the entire day (11 am.-7 p.m.).

Late-day rentals. Late-day cabana availability varies from day to day. Cabanas become available for late-day rental when the original reservation party notifies our staff of their final departure for the day. Late-day reservations start at 4 p.m. If you’re interested in reserving a late-day cabana on the day of your visit, check availability with The Waterpark staff at the front kiosk.

Q: What does a cabana rental include?

Besides great Waterpark memories, cabana rentals include the following:

  • Seating for seven (large cabanas) OR seating for four (small cabanas)
  • Mini fridge for holding drinks and small items
  • Lockable hotel-like safe for phones, wallets, and small valuables
  • Buffet table to set out food
  • Ceiling fan

Please note that day passes are NOT included in your cabana rental. All guests will need to purchase a day pass at The Waterpark entrance on the day of your cabana reservation. If you or other cabana guests are MCC members, entry into The Waterpark is covered under your membership.

Q: How do I check in on the day of my reservation?

To maximize your time spent outdoors in the sun and relaxing in your cabana, we recommend the following:

  • Go through the member line. Whether you are a member or not, on the day of your cabana reservation you get to enter The Waterpark through the member-only line.
  • Arrive at the same time. This is the most important tip. To substantially cut down on check-in time, all members of your party should arrive at the same time and walk in together as a group. If a member of your group shows up late, they will need to wait in the members-only line and coordinate with you to meet at The Waterpark entrance. You (or whoever originally booked the reservation) must meet all late party members at the entrance so that they can be let in.

Q: What can I bring to The Waterpark and what should I leave at home?

We encourage food, company, and good times out at The Waterpark (check out what we’d pack in our Waterpark bag), but there are some prohibited items you should leave at home on the day of your cabana reservation.

  • No glass. Glass bottles, glass containers, glass baby food jars, or anything else made of glass are prohibited in The Waterpark.
  • No alcohol. All alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
  • No smoking or vaping. We do not allow any type of smoking or vaping within The Waterpark.
  • No grills or plug-in crockpots. All portable grills, plug-in crockpots, food warmers, etc. should be left at home.

Q: What happens if The Waterpark is at capacity or there is a weather closure?

If you rent a cabana and The Waterpark is at capacity when you arrive, no worries! We allow all cabana party members to gain entry no matter capacity levels.
